Final Website

Now we have completed the final draft of our website, we are confident that this is what we would like our website to look like and in order to show what it will look like and that it works well, we have created a screen-cast of us going through the website.

Unfortunately, we are unable to show the link to the Facebook page on the website, due to the internet access control on from the school denying access to certain pages.

Today we fully published our website with wix.com. We have published this as our first draft and as a result we will recieve fedback fom peers and this will aid us in making improvements. This is becase our website is key to drawing in people internationally and help our fans get to know Heidi Holmes better. The link to our website first draft is here:

Website First Draft

Over the last few weeks we have started to create our website. We completed this through the website Wix.com, A key reason we have decided to create a website is because nearly everyone has access to he internet and it will therefore make people more aware of our artist internationally. Also through a website it gives the fans somewhere to go to find out various information about Heidi Homes. This includes when her tour is and what merchandise they can buy.

Below is our first draft of the website, which we will now go and receive feedback for to help us improve it for our target audience and this will mean we can gain more fans and a greater following.

Website Research

Now that we have completed the analysis of a website, we took that information and furthered it by completing a research into music artists websites and more particularly, artists websites who are in the same genre as we will try to recreate. We have gone into plenty of detail including what we should include and how we will be inspired by artists such as Carrie Underwood.

Website Analysis

Before we complete our website we need to fully understand what we should expect to see when looking at one from an artist of our genre, which is Folk/Folk Pop. The way in which we can do this is though analysing  one of these websites the website that we have chosen to analyse is Ellie Goulding, because even though now she is a Pop artist, she initially started out as folk and broke her way into the top charts and this is what we aim for our artist, Heidi Holmes, to achieve.
